The most popular binder size. This tool is pre-set to 2-inch (50.8 mm) spine width — perfect for standard office and school ring binders. Customize text, fonts, and colors, then print a full sheet with cut marks.
The 2-inch binder is the most widely used size in offices and schools, holding roughly 475 sheets. The 50.8 mm spine is the first size with genuinely comfortable room: a large title line plus one or two supporting lines, or a single very large title readable from several metres away. Because this size is so common, it is usually the one worth standardising on — pick one font, one size and one colour convention here, and reuse it across the narrower and wider binders on the same shelf.
You can print on plain paper and cut along the marks, or use a pre-cut sheet made for this format:
| Avery 89107 | 2" spine inserts, 20 per pack. Inserts for the clear spine pocket on standard US ring binders. |

This tool places 4 two-inch labels across an A4 or US Letter sheet. With four to a page, printing a shelf of eight or twelve binders takes two or three sheets — set the whole batch up in one go rather than printing one label at a time.
Micro-perforated cardstock inserts for 1-inch view binders (1.4" spine channel). 40 inserts, laser and inkjet.
For 2-inch ring binders with a 2.8" spine channel. 20 cardstock inserts, bright white, micro-perforated.
TripleTrack rail and a cut-line wire that shows exactly where the blade lands. The single best upgrade over scissors for printed label sheets.
