Create labels sized for 1.5-inch binders. The tool starts pre-configured to 38 mm width — the standard for 1½" ring binders. Type, format, and print directly from your browser.
A 1.5-inch binder takes around 300 sheets, the middle of the standard US range and a common choice for an ongoing project or a semester of coursework. At 38 mm the spine is wide enough for a comfortable two-line label: a title on the first line and a date range, client name, or volume number on the second. This is usually the narrowest size where a subtitle stays readable, which makes it a good default when you are labelling a shelf of binders that need to be told apart at a glance.
You can print on plain paper and cut along the marks, or use a pre-cut sheet made for this format:
| Avery 89105 | 1.5" spine inserts, 25 per pack. Slide-in inserts for binders with a clear spine pocket. |

This tool fits 5 labels of this width across an A4 or US Letter sheet. If you are printing a full shelf at once, keep one format and font across every label — mixed type sizes are far more noticeable on a shelf than on screen.
Micro-perforated cardstock inserts for 1-inch view binders (1.4" spine channel). 40 inserts, laser and inkjet.
For 2-inch ring binders with a 2.8" spine channel. 20 cardstock inserts, bright white, micro-perforated.
TripleTrack rail and a cut-line wire that shows exactly where the blade lands. The single best upgrade over scissors for printed label sheets.
